RX Range

A range of tractor mounted PTO driven soil renovators, with five models, RX200, RX220, RX250, RX300, and RX370. These soil renovators cultivate the soil by disturbing the soil to a depth of up to 220mm, filters stones and debris from the surface layers and then reburies them whilst finally covering them with 50mm to 100mm depth of sieved soil and then firms the ground with a finishing roller. This is the Rotadairon brand being manufactured by Dairon.

  Sand Filler

A tractor mounted scarifying and hopper unit (SF120). It has a working width of 1.2m, working depths of 2cm, 3cm, or 4cm. The sand capacity is 120 litres, whilst the hopper collection capacity is 200 litres. Tractor power requirement is 40 ¯ 60hp range. It is manufactured by GKB Machines.

  SandCat

A make of tractor operator combined sand-slitter (the existing soil is not removed) and sand injection into the cut slits. It has a working width of 1.2m, a cutting depth of 150mm, with sand being injected to 120mm depth. There are 21 blades each being a thickness of 8mm, and they are spaced at 150mm. The hopper capacity is 500 litres; the maximum operating speed is 1.5mph, going down to 0.3mph. It is manufactured by Imants.

  SISGrass Universal

A two-person operated machine for installing, by stitching, artificial grass blades into a rootzone in specific locations, such as golf tees, goal mouths, tennis courts, cricket run ups and similar smallish areas. The machine is 1.2m width and 2m in length, with a maximum weight of 2 tonnes. It is manufactured by SIS Pitches.

  Soil Movers

A make and range of tractor towed attachments, with hydraulically lifted ‘ripping teeth', for the moving, grading and levelling of sand and soil surfaces. There are three models: • 1206 with a working width of 1.8m; 6 teeth; • 1208 with a working width of 2.4m; 8 teeth; • 1210 with a working width of 1.8m; 12 teeth. They are manufactured by Dakota.

  Speed Seed

A make of pedestrian and tractor mounted seeders, with spiked rollers. there is one pedestrian model with a working width of 0.61m, and four tractor mounted models with working widths of 1.2m, 1.6m, 2.1m, and 2.4m. the spiked roller produces 940 holes per square metre; it is manufactured by Redexim-Charterhouse.

  Sport Series

A make of tractor operated overseeders with four models with working widths of either 2.17m or 2.5m; there are two models of each width, attached by either 3-point linkage or trailed. The machines have double discs which cut into the soil or turf at an angle and the grass seed is dropped into the fine cut slot that is formed, with a spacing of 35mm between slots due to there being two rows of discs.
