Super Compact Series

A make of tractor operated overseeders with nine models with working widths form 0.8m to 2.13m; five models are attached by 3-point linkage, whilst four models are trailed. The machines have double discs, with a diameter of 250mm, which cut into the soil or turf at an angle and the grass seed is dropped into the fine cut slot that is formed, with a spacing of 35mm between slots due to there being two rows of discs. Seed placement depth can typically range from on the surface down to 20mm depth, with application rate being adjustable from 3 to 210 kg per ha. A smooth rear roller helps to re-firm the soil or turf following seeding, with tractor requirements being from 30hp to 85hp depending on model used. This is manufactured by Vredo.
