SandCat

A make of tractor operator combined sand-slitter (the existing soil is not removed) and sand injection into the cut slits. It has a working width of 1.2m, a cutting depth of 150mm, with sand being injected to 120mm depth. There are 21 blades each being a thickness of 8mm, and they are spaced at 150mm. The hopper capacity is 500 litres; the maximum operating speed is 1.5mph, going down to 0.3mph. It is manufactured by Imants.
