A dispersant which provides a water resistant coating that is applied to, and adheres to, a dry turfgrass surface which then reduces water retention and guttation exudates on the leaf surface. The suggested application rate is 10 litres of concentrate mixed with 300-400 litres of water per hectare, with the frequency of application being from weekly to every 3-weeks. The typical period for application is from the middle of August until the end of March. It is supplied by Advance Grass Solutions.

Abbreviation for Organic Acid Redistribution System. This is a water soluble pelleted, non-toxic biodegradable formulation of surfactants and an organic solvent which is used to treat localised dry spot by removing significant quantities of water repellent organic acids within a soil. The active Ingredients of OARS is 35.5% Polyoxyalkylene polymers; 62.0% Non-ionic polyols; and 2.5% Potassium salt of alkyl substituted maleic acid. Each pellet weighs 226 grams and can be used to treat an area up to a maximum of 1,400m². It is a registered trademark of Aqua Aid.

A product name for a soil penetrant manufactured by Floratine. It has a typical routine application rate of 2.5-5 litres per hectare mixed in to 600-800 litres of water per hectare, being used at about monthly intervals to maintain suitable in filtration and percolation rates. Higher applications of 10-20 litre per hectare might be considered as an initial application in adverse conditions.
