Advantage Plus
A wetting agent, with a neutral blend of polyhydroxyethyl alkoxy alkylene oxides, to aid more uniform water distribution within a rootzone. It is formulated as a pellet which gradually dissolves, in a special hand applicator which is attached to a water supply, over 2 to 3 hours (mainly dependent upon water pressure), allowing for 2,000-3,000m², which is the equivalent of 4 to 6 average sized golf greens. Produced by Aquatrols (Europe Ltd).
Advantage Plus Seaweed
A wetting agent, Advantage Plus, but with added organic extract being 3.3% humic acids and 0.5% seaweed extract, the remaining 96.2% being the wetting agent component. Produced by Aquatrols (Europe Ltd).
AquaSmart
A product name for a wetting agent, which is part of the H2Pro Range, for use at low application rates on large turfgrass areas. It is supplied by ICL.
Aquazone
A product name for a liquid wetting agent with typical application rates of 15-20 litres of concentrate diluted in 300-600 litres of water per hectare, being applied monthly from March or April to September or October, or 25-50 litres of concentrate diluted in 210-900 litres of water per hectare as a 90-day frequency of application, starting in March or April and then applied 3-months later. It is also available as an irrigation tank tablet and also as pellets which dissolve slowly when used in a water applicator. It is produced by GBR Technology.
Aquazorb
A product name for a wetting agent supplied by Turftech International, as either a granule or liquid. The liquid application is typically applied at 4-to-6-week intervals to control dry patch, also helping to reduce the formation of dew. It includes a range of ingredients including, succinate derivative, aliphatic alcohol and a block copolymer.
Aqueduct
A liquid surfactant used to reduce problem water repellent areas, such as Dry patch, before more routine soil water management practices are implemented. Chemical components include Propylene glycol (5%-10%, a blend of non-ionic polyol (45%-50%), with the balance of the liquid being water (40%-50%). Produced by Aquatrols (Europe Ltd).
Aqueduct Flex Granular
A granular non-ionic soil surfactant-wetting agent used to help the recovery of water stressed plants and also to provide protection against Dry patch development for 30-days following application. It does not need to be watered in following application to a prepared turf surface. Chemical components include Polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene block copolymer (7.5%) and Polyalkylene glycol (2.5%), and DG Lite ¯ an inert carrier - (90%). Application rates range from 0.5kg per 100m² (for prevention) to 1.25 kg per 100m² (for recovery). Produced by Aquatrols (Europe Ltd).
Bestwet
A make of wetting agent, being part of the Velvit brand that is supplied by Greenbest.

Breaker Range
A name for a range of wetting agents, both granular and liquid, that mostly contain polyoxyalkylene glycol surfactants and a soil penetrant, being used for the control of dry patch and improving the uniformity of water distribution within a soil profile. The suggested rates of application are for 10,000 m² as follows and are supplied by Rigby Taylor:
Dynamic (granules): 200kg.
Dynamic (liquid): 20-litres diluted in 700 to 900 litres of water.
Sport (liquid): 10 to 20 litres, diluted in 700 to 900 litres of water.
BioLinks (liquid): includes seaweed, applied at 25 litres of concentrate

Clearing
A wetting agent with the active ingredient Dipotassium phosphonate, used to aid in reducing the effects of fairy rings on turfgrass. The application rate is 400ml of concentrate in 10-20 litres of water per 100m². It is supplied by Vitax Amenity.
