3 4.2.1 Fertilisers
4 A range of different plant foods that consist mainly of the nutrients of Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium, will be given as a fertiliser.
A fertiliser is required to help produce a football pitch that can withstand the wear and tear from footballers, will look good, and will (hopefully) stay in a suitable condition for most or all of the playing season.
