Aeraseeder

A make of overseeder with a hopper and spiked seeder, which is available as a pedestrian operated or tractor mounted units, being supplied by Campey. • Pedestrian model: seeding width of 600mm, spiked roller producing 800 holes per m2. • Tractor mounted models: seeding widths of 1.2m, 1.8m, 2.4m.; spiked roller producing 1,750 holes per m2.

  Blecavator

A make of tractor PTO operated soil cultivator, having a triangular spiked rear roller, with two models (145 and 210) being manufactured by Redexim. The machines have a working depth of 100-180mm, reburying stones to a depth of 50mm. The models have • Working width of 1.45m; 54 blades on 9 discs; tractor with a minimum 35-65hp depending on depth cultivated. • Working width of 2.10m; 79 blades on 13 discs; tractor with a minimum 60-90hp depending on depth cultivated.

  Combinator

A tractor mounted powered fraise mower for surface removal or heavy scarification unit (having different rotors) and conveyor belt which removes sand, soil and grass surfaces. This is the same unit as the Infill Remover but with different heads. There are 4 models, each having a working depth of up to 5cm:

  Combiseeder

A tractor mounted seed application unit which includes two spiked rollers creating 1500 holes per m2 and two drag brushes. There are 4 models: • CS120: working width of 1.2m; hopper capacity of 150 litres; weight of 500kg; with a minimum power unit of 35hp.

  Compact Series

A make of tractor operated overseeders, with four models with working widths from 1m to 2.2m. The machines have double discs which cut into the soil or turf at an angle and the grass seed is dropped into the fine cut slot that is formed, with a spacing of 75mm between slots. Seed placement depth can typically range from on the surface down to 25mm depth. A smooth rear roller helps to re-firm the soil or turf following seeding, with tractor requirements being from 25hp to 55hp depending on model used. This is manufactured by Vredo.

  Contour Sand Injector (CSI)

A make of multi-purpose pedestrian operated scarifier, sand injector and seed applicator. The scarifier can have blades with a thickness of 1mm, 2mm, or 3mm. A sand injection function is available (if it is enabled) whilst seed can also be applied at the same time. There are separate hoppers on the machine for the sand and the seed. Scarification depth can be from 1mm to 40mm. It is manufactured by Graden.

  Contravator-Lospred

A make of tractor operated (PTO driven) surface groove-cutter and seed dispenser, which could also be used independently of each other. The contra-rotating blades cut grooves for seed to be deposited into the grooves via tubes. At the bottom of the hopper were two rotating rollers which helped to keep the seed flowing smoothly into the tubes. The full sowing width of the Lospred was 72 inches, which was the same working width as the Contravator. These were manufactured by SISIS originally in the mid-1960s.

  Cultiroll

A Koro make of a tractor mounted, soil cultivator, with rear roller. There is one model: CR2000, which has a working width of 2m, 13 blades spaced at 160mm and each blade being 6mm in thickness; with a minimum tractor requirement of 45 h.p. It is manufactured by Imants.
