This is the main component of chalk and is applied to soil or turf grass surfaces to help reduce soil acidity. It is also commonly called ground limestone and in the early 1920s it was also referred to as Pulverised Chalk, as well as Carbonate of Lime. Its chemical formula is CaCO3.

A biochar product made by Soil Fixer and marketed by other organisations, including Agrostis Amenity. It is a granular material, from 0 ¯ 5mm in size, with additions of mycorrhizal fungi, bacteria (actinomyces and Trichoderma) and trace elements from seaweed. Application rates vary, being typically applied from February to November, according to situation: • Seed bed or Hollow tined areas: 1kg/m² prior to overseeding. • Established swards: 0.5kg/m².

A granular (0.5-1.5mm diameter) soil and organic amendment material which consists of zeolite-clinoptilolite, leonardite and 20% organic matter. It is typically incorporated into a top-dressing of sand to form 10% of the finished mixture. It is supplied by Turfcare Ltd, being manufactured by the OzTurk Group.
