  Veemo

A make of tractor operated, hydraulic driven, heavy duty scarifier with three units, with a total working width of 2 metres, and a working depth of up to 150mm; The first model was produced in 1975 and it is manufactured by SISIS.

  Verti-Rake [1]

A make of tractor towed metal tined prongs in 6 rows on a frame. There are four models and the total number of tines per model are 168, 240, 360, or 480; it is manufactured by Redexim-Charterhouse.

  Verti-Rake [2]

A pedestrian operated scarifier with an operating width of 51cm. This was manufactured by Pattisson & Co. in the early 1970s.

  Verticut [1]

The trade name of a make of tractor mounted verticutter, of which there are two models. One has a working width of 1.3m (which is a single unit) and the other is 2.0m (which is 3 separate units); it is manufactured by Redexim-Charterhouse.

  Verticut Harrow

A make of tractor mounted spring tine rake, located in five rows. There are two models with a working width of either 1.6m or 2.1m. This equipment is essentially an early version of the Terra Rake; it is manufactured by Wiedenmann (UK) Ltd.

  Verticut TT

A make of pedestrian verticutter built into the chassis of a 510mm wide cylinder mower. It has a 2-section rear roller, and weighs 120kg. It is manufactured by Dennis Mowers.

  VStrong

A make of heavy duty, tractor mounted, scarifier. There are 4 models, each having a working depth of up to 4cm: • VS120: working width of 1.2m; weight of 350kg; with a power need of >40hp. • VS160: working width of 1.6m; weight of 500kg; with a power need of >45hp. • VS200: working width of 2m; weight of 750kg; with a power need of >65hp. • VS240: working width of 2.4m; weight of 900kg; with a power need of >90hp. They are manufactured by GKB Machines.
