A grass seed for use on free draining finer turf areas which are in exposed coastal situations and which are liable to salt spray. It has a suggested height of cut of no less than 4mm. It is 100% Slender creeping red fescue, with a blend of 3 cultivars: 40% Barpearl; 30% Viktorka; 30% Barmalia. It is produced by Barenbrug.

  Smooth Sport

A grass seed for use on newly constructed winter sports (football and rugby) pitches, which have at least 3-months for good establishment. It is also designed for use on racecourse tracks and polo. It has a suggested height of cut of no less than 15mm-20mm. It is mixture of 80% perennial ryegrass (40% Barorlando, 40% Eurosport) and 20% smooth-stalked meadow grass (Bariris). It is produced by Barenbrug.

  SOS

A grass seed with different compositions depending upon the use and seed availability: • For use on winter sports (football and rugby) pitches, especially for overseeding at times of the year when cooler temperatures prevail. One trial had shown germination and establishment of this blend increased grass coverage during winter from 20% to 60% in a period of a month when soil temperatures were at 6.2°C. It is 100% perennial ryegrass, with a blend of 2 different cultivars:50% Barcristalla; 50% Barterra, which is an annual ryegrass, and which can germinate at temperatures as low as 3.5°C.

  Super Root

A grass seed used for stabilising soil and for reducing erosion, especially on embankments, with a suggested height of cut of no less than 20mm. It is a mixture of 20% Strong Creeping Red Fescue (Mystic), 80% Perennial Ryegrass (30% Greensky, 20% Stolawn ¯ a creeping PRG, 30% Tetragreen ¯ a tetraploid). It is produced by Rigby Taylor.
