A range of products for the biological control of leatherjackets and chafer grubs in turf. The leatherjacket killer product contains Steinernema feltiae nematodes, requiring application from late August to October when soil temperatures are greater than 10°C, or after a 2-week period from the observation of the adult craneflies. Leatherjackets which have been infected with the nematodes should die within a 2 to 4-week period. Chemical ingredients include, urea hydrochloride, and quaternary ammonium compounds, benzyl-C12-14-alkyldimethyl, chlorides. It has an application rate of 50 litres of concentrate in 500 litres of water per hectare, with a suggested use on artificial turf requiring a higher water dilution rate, being 1,000 litres per hectare. It contains dialkyldimethyl ammonium chloride citric acid (19.8% w/w) and has an application concentrate rate of 1 litre of concentrate, diluted in 20 litres of water, per 100m².
