Greenit
A product name for a green coloured emulsion-based turf colour restorer. The typical dilution rate is 1 part of concentrate to 19 parts of water. It is supplied by Vitax Amenity.
Lead Arsenate
A very toxic, poisonous, insecticide which was formerly used in the early to mid-20th century to control chafer grubs, fever fly larvae and earthworms. It is no longer approved (from the mid-1980s) for sale or use in the UK.
Lime, Granular
A generic product name for a lime prepared as a granule, from 2-4mm granule size, which can be used to raise the pH of a soil or sward surface. The application rate will vary, with guide figures for raising either a sand or loamy sand soil by 0.5 pH being 28g/m², to that of a clay loam or clay being 57g/m². Lineout Treatment Indicator
A product name for a foam bout marker for use when using boom sprayers, helping to reduce or eliminate over lapping as well as reducing the likelihood of missing an area when spraying. This is supplied by Rigby Taylor.
Mycorrhizal Inoculant
A microbial plant growth promoter which contains 9 species of endo mycorrhizal fungi, growth-promoting soil fungi and bacteria, biostimulants, zeolite and soil nutrients. A typical application rate is 50 g/m2. The quantity of available phosphate within a soil is suggested as not exceeding 15ml/kg to ensure optimum effects from the inoculant. It is produced by Symbio.
NupHix
An acidifying water conditioner with pH colour indicator to help adjust water pH to 4.0 ¯ 5.0 (in which it turns pink when this is reached) in spraying activities to help improve the performance of some pesticide and foliar applications. It is produced by ICL.
Outcast Soil Acidifier
A make of liquid soil acidifier which is stated as being used to help 'tackle' earthworm casting.

A product name which is used to control algae in watercourses. The crystal absorbs excess nitrogen phosphate within a watercourse, reducing the nutrient supply available to algae therefore reducing desirable growth conditions. It is supplied by ICL.
Purity Soil Conditioner
A liquid and granular material acting as a soil conditioner. It is identified as a ‘Horticultural fertiliser’ and ‘For use only as a horticultural soil conditioner’, with the active ingredient being Saponin.
