An inorganic, straight, fertiliser supplying 34.5% of nitrogen, with a chemical formula of NH4NO3. This fertiliser is mainly used as a nitrogen source for compound granular fertilisers with around 15% to 20% nitrogen content. It produces a slightly acidic reaction on a turf surface.

An inorganic source of nitrogen and phosphate, being used in granular and liquid fertilisers. The nitrogen element is relatively quick acting and if applied to turf should be watered in fairly quickly due to the likelihood of turf scorch occurring. Its chemical formula is NH4H2PO4 and typically contains 22% phosphorus (50% phosphate) and 12% nitrogen, although when used in a fertiliser the typical fertiliser content might be 36% Phosphate and 10% nitrogen. It is also called Mono-Ammonium Phosphate.
