A micro-granular product with a typical granule size of 0.5mm-1.8mm and which contains saprophytic microorganisms, along with small amounts of some nutrients (N: 0.26%; K20:7%), as well as some trace elements. The product is activated by moisture and should also only be applied when ground temperature is 5C and above. A typical application rate is 50 g/m2. The micro-organisms will start to breakdown the organic matter in thatch, although aeration will be required for optimum effect. The process converts thatch to also provide small amounts of available nutrients. It is produced by Symbio.
