Green Circle
A facultative aerobic saprophytic bacteria and fungi in a mineral micro-granule, along with small amounts of some nutrients (N 4.3%; Mg 0.8%; Fe 0.8%). It should only be used when the soil temperature is 5C and above, and ensure the area is spiked beforehand. A typical application rate is 25 g/m2. It is produced by Symbio.
Hicure
A biostimulant product which is a concentrate of 18 amino acids (60-69% w/w) and is produced by Syngenta. Application frequencies and rates are suggested as every 2-weeks at 10-litres per hectare, or monthly at 20-litres per hectare, applied from spring and throughout summer. The volume of water for dilution is 250-500-litres per hectare. Applications for the end of summer to autumn are suggested as 5-litres every 2-week, or 10-litres each month.

A make of biostimulant containing humic acids, being part of the Velvit brand that is supplied by Greenbest.

HumiMax
A organic material for foliar application. It consists of 25% humic extracts (20.5% w/w of humic acid; 4.5% w/w of fulvic acid), which is extracted from Leonardite. It is supplied by Maxwell Amenity.
Humivate
A liquid product containing humic and fulvic acid for use as a soil conditioner; two versions are available: normal and XL which also contains a range of nutrients. Application is typically at 4-6-week intervals, being applied over the growing season, with 4-6 treatments being carried out. This is supplied by Rigby Taylor.
Kelpak
A product name for a liquid biostimulant, with typical application rates of 2-10 litres of concentrate mixed in 300-600 litres of water per hectare, containing extracts from a brown kelp, Ecklonia maxima. It is supplied by GBR Technology.
Kelpak Seaweed
A product name for a liquid biostimulant, extracted from the species of Kelp called Ecklonia maxima, containing plant hormones, amino acids and vitamins. It is produced by Agrigem.
Liqui-CaT
A product name for a liquid soil conditioner, which contains 6% calcium and 10% thiosulphate sulphur. It has a typical application rate of 20-40 litres of concentrate per hectare, being applied as a soil drench and then thoroughly washed in after application to ensure the material is washed off grass leaves and infiltrates into the soil profile. It is supplied by GBR Technology.
Liquid Amendments
A name for a range of products made from natural materials to improve the health and quality of rootzones, being manufactured by Angus Horticulture.
• AquaEasy: A soil water penetrant and wetting agent.
• Auchmithie: A concentrated liquid feed from plant extracts with additional seaweed elements, with an analysis of 0.6:0.1:2 + 0.5% Fe, acting as a plant stimulant.
