A Government skills development work programme for 16-24 year olds, which lasts from 6 weeks to often less than 6-months, although in some cases this could be up to 12-months. This is not a job but an opportunity to learn employability and relevant vocational skills and can help prepare an individual for an apprenticeship or a job.
