A reinforced turf produced with artificial grass blades, grown in sand and supported with a combination of open weave plastic backing mesh and biodegradable fabric, into which the artificial blades have been fixed by tufting. There is a removable backing prior to laying which aids transportation and initial positioning of the turf in situ. It is produced by County Turf, being grown under licence from the Motz Group.
