Cradle to Grave

The entire life cycle of something from its birth (cradle) to death (grave). This term mainly relates to the environmental impacts from each stage of the life cycle, typically of a manufactured product: extraction of raw materials, manufacture, distribution, usage and disposal. Analysing the entire process provides for a more informed opinion as to what the full environmental cost and impacts of a product.
