Safe Working Zone

A designated area that primarily aims to keep people safe from being harmed or injured from work activities.

Signage and barriers and sometimes controls will typically be in place to help inform people of the hazard, aiming to prevent unauthorised access to the area.

Included within a safe working zone might be an exclusion zone to prevent access to selected areas that are deemed unsafe for access.
