These implements typically consist of a shallow slit tine aerator, metal tined rake for light surface scarification, a light roller and a plastic/nylon bristle brush.

Not all the implements need to be used at the same time, so they will be adjusted to be raised so as not to connect to the ground.

Where the roller is rarely used then to reduce the overall weight of the implement it might be advisable to detach that item completely and only refix it when it is needed.

The use of the bristle brush might typically be the last implement on the combination frame. Being in this end position would help with producing a final striped presentation effect, lifting up any flattened grass plants as a result of other implements beings used.
