Guided Learning Hours

The number of hours of instruction or supervised study.

A learner will have a tutor or teacher present to provide advice and guidance on the requirements of a qualification.

The instruction or supervision might be face-to-face or live online. Self-study is not included within this term.

The term is often shortened to GLH.
