Certificate of Achievement
Recognition of a success. This might be recognition of achieving a milestone within the workplace, for example 10-years of service to the same organisation, recognition of overcoming a particular problem, or as recognition of passing a practical or theory assessment following study of a short course, document or practical activity.
Certificates of achievement can act as motivators to employees and learners, or as rewards for service or contributions by individuals, however, they are not considered as academic certificates which would contribute to the educational status of an individual, unlike a qualification certificate, but they can contribute to ongoing learning processes, as would be typical of Continuing Professional Development.
