A BIGGA qualification, which saw its first achiever in 1991, introduced to recognise excellence within golf greenkeeping.

It consists of 3-stages:

Stage 1: Education, training and experience, requiring a minimum of 200 credits to be completed and is available to all BIGGA (Full and International) members.

Stage 2: An assessment of the golf course operation. This is only available to Course managers, or similar, with at least 3-years in that role and at least 10-years as a greenkeeper.

Stage 3: Two 3-hour examination papers: A case study and technical paper.
