Instructional Design

A systematic approach to the design, development, deployment and delivery of a learning programme.

The aim is to provide a learning experience which is engaging, efficient in use of learning time and effective in meeting aims.

It is also called Instructional Systems Design (ISD).

The ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model is an example of an instructional design process.
