Airter Light 1460

A tractor pto operated aerator, requiring a minimum of 30hp, which injects compressed air into the soil profile via hollowed tine nozzles (injection lances). The unit is 1.6m wide, weighs about 950kg, has 14 injectors working to a depth of 8cm to 18cm, with air working down to a maximum 22cm from the nozzle at the end of each lance. It has a working speed of 0.7 km/hr, with productivity being about 1,100m² per hour. A full-sized football pitch might see the equivalent of 1 million litres of air being injected into it. It is manufactured by Novokraft AG.
