A name for a range of products made from natural materials to improve the health and quality of rootzones, being manufactured by Angus Horticulture.
• Amino Acids: A wide range of amino acids, and containing a N:P205:K2O) analysis of 10:3.6:8. A typical application rate is 150g/ha per 10-14 days.
• HumiGranule: A micro-granule (0.4-1mm) organic material containing humic and fulvic acids. The application rate typically ranges from 500 to 1,000kg per hectare, per year.
• Seaweed Meal: Manufactured from Ascophyllum nodosum, with a typical analysis of N: 0.6%-2%; P: 0.1%-0.3%; K: 25-3%; numerous other elements plus alginic acid, proteins and amino acids. A typical application rate is 35-70 g/m2
• Sports Turf Root Developer: Live spores of a range of fungi, mycorrhizae and bacteria to aid micro-organism increase in sterilise and similar rootzones, especially those with a very high sand content. A typical application rate is 1kg/ha for established turf and 1-2kg/ha for working into a seed or turf bed.
• Zeolite: Produced from clinoptilolite to improve the CEC of a rootzone, with the material being shown to increase the water holding capacity of a soil by about 50% with a 15% concentration of Zeolite within a sand rootzone. A typical application rate is 1 to 4 tonnes per hectare for amending to rootzones during construction, and 0.5 to 1 tonne per hectare to established turf, following aeration activities.
