Idea Challenge

An idea generation and problem-solving technique which involves the problem or issue being explained and defined as clearly as possible. This may, for example, involve the use of flow charts or product specifications to help create ideas. The most suitable idea, or ideas, are developed to provide a solution which can be evaluated against the ‘starting position' to indicate the extent of improvement made.
