Thatch-Away Supa System

A range of cassette unit which remove and control thatch, which replaces the cylinder mower units on a triple mower. A wide range of cassette units are available, being manufactured by GreenTek, including:
• Verticutter: 10mm spacings, 1.6mm thick tungsten tipped; with a typical working depth of 0-3mm and a maximum of 6mm.
• Fine-grass verticutters: 15mm spacings, 1mm thick tungsten tipped; with a typical working depth of 1-2mm and a maximum of 6mm.
• Deep slicer: Round tipped, triangular, slicers, with a spacing of 45mm and maximum depth of slice of 20mm.
• Sarel roller: 20mm depth.
• Star slitter: 50mm spacing, 20mm depth maximum.
• Scarifier: 2mm thick tungsten tipped blades, 12mm maximum depth.
• Groomer / Poa buster: 5mm spacing, 0 ¯ 2mm depth.
• Greens roller: Tri-roller units.
• Rotary brush: Softer brush (black) for dew removal, earthworm casts; firmer brush (blue) for brushing up cores and brushing in top-dressing.
• Bermuda tamer: spiral circular steel brush for groomer Bermuda grass greens.
• Topdressing brush: Linear brush, polypropylene fibres, also for removing dew.
