Surface Evenness

An expression of how smooth a surface is. It may also just be referred to as Evenness. It is typically measured with a straight edge, laid flat on a surface and a rule or graduated wedge used to determine the extent of any gap under the straight edge. This might be better termed unevenness, as an even surface would be uniformly smooth without any depressions present.
