Slit Tine advert image shown if present

A thin metal tine of various shapes. Typically, this will be in the shape of a triangle or a narrow rectangle with a curved end. These are used for regular aeration work, but not during dry weather or periods leading up to dry spells because the narrow slit produced on a surface is prone to gaping. Root pruning and the keeping open of a turf surface for soil air to atmospheric air exchange are two reasons for using this type of tine.
