Raking a Lawn advert image shown if present

The type of raking considered here is that of a very light scarification. This is normally carried out with a thin tined rake (a springbok rake) and is used to physically control moss, creeping or trailing weeds, such as clover, and keeps the base of the lawn free from decaying plant remains. A large amount of surface debris can be removed by scarification using a hand rake.
