Power Brushing advert image shown if present

Image shown for entry if relevant and present

A mechanically powered brush which operates its brush in a contra-rotating action, thus throwing material forwards rather than backwards towards the machine. A power brush can be used to disturb a surface infill in an artificial carpet and eject it onto a sieve plate. Sand, or rubber crumb, will be returned to the surface, whilst some contaminants will be removed as they are collected in the sieve. Power brushing will break up, depending upon the depth used, any capping or surface compaction which may have formed and will return fibres to a more upright position.
