Marquis

A make of pedestrian cylinder mower, having two models, with a cutting width of either 51cm or 61cm. The height of cut ranges from 6mm to 27mm, with the cylinder having either 5 (61cm model) or 6 (51cm model) blades, and the weight is either 82kg or 99kg. The Marquis 51 has a cutting frequency of 85 cuts per linear metre, whilst for the Marquis 61 it is 71 cuts per linear metre. The cutting performance for the 51cm model is 1,110 m² per hour, and 1,660m² per hour for the 61cm model; with the fuel tank size being 2.5 litres. The ground pressure is 0.28 kg/cm² and 0.32 kg/cm² for each respective model. The rear roller is in two pieces to aid turning. It is manufactured by Ransomes Jacobsen Ltd.
