With the changes routinely taking place within modern workplaces, the need to continually adapt and change to new technology and working practices has resulted in the extension of the former Training Needs Analysis into a wider Learning Needs Analysis.

This will provide additional focus on behavioural learning, learning methods for individuals and also a greater emphasis on the needs of a learner, for their personal benefit, rather than the focus previously being almost limited to the requirements of the business in which the learner was employed.
