An uncommon Perennial grass, with the scientific name of Festuca brevipila; formerly being classified as Festuca longifolia. The leaf is Bristle, having a typical width of 0.5-1mm. The Ligule is Membranous , being 0.5mm in length; Auricle?: No. Growth type is Tufted. It is well adapted to very dry and infertile areas and is ideal for low maintenance situations, or medium height, low intensity of use surfaces.
