An individual who is responsible for the maintenance, care and overall appearance of a golf course. The role is to maintain a good quality playing surface and ensure the golf course offers a consistent challenge and an enjoyable experience for golfers. There is an apprenticeship standard for this role, which was originally available from March 2015.
