Germination Sheet advert image shown if present

A protective cover for newly sown grassed areas. It can be made of different material, ideally allowing light and air to penetrate and circulate through the sheet, whilst providing protection from bird damage, drying out from wind and aiding moisture retention around the seed. During warm weather the microclimate beneath a sheet can become very warm and relative humidity high which increases plant stress and potential for disease attack. Periodic removal and replacement of germination sheets may be required during such warm periods.
