Flammable Liquids

The use of petrol in many machines exposes a user to a significant hazard, which if not managed appropriately, will present a high risk to that user. Take care when using any flammable liquid and this can mean:
• Filling up a fuel tank at the start of the day, when the engine is cold;
• Filling up a fuel tank on a hard surface, so that if any spillage accidentally occurs then it is relatively easy to clean up ¯ make sure a spill kit is always available when using machinery;
