Cylinder Mower

A mower with a horizontal rotating cylinder, with numerous spiral blades, which cut grass in a scissor like action against a bottom blade. These mowers come in a wide range of widths and power sizes, from manual push to tractor operated. A cylinder mower gives the best finish to a turfgrass surfaces and are mostly used for fine turf situations and high-quality sports pitches. Sometimes they are referred to as a Reel mower.
