Corer

A tool which is used to extract a soil core. It can be a single corer, often used as a hand tool for sampling soil profiles, or as one of many coring tools, typically as hollow-tines, which are fixed on an item of equipment, such as a hollow-tine fork, or on a mechanical aerator.
