A common Perennial grass, with the scientific name of Festuca rubra ssp pruinosa. The leaf is Bristle, having a typical width of 0.6-1.3mm. The Ligule is Membranous, being 0.5mm in length; Auricle?: No. Growth type is Rhizomatous. This is also known as a subspecies of Slender Creeping Red Fescue and grows in coastal sandy and free draining situations. The minimum effective cutting height for this species is 5mm.
