A warm season species of grass. There are three main turfgrass species: Common Bermuda Grass, (Cynodon dactylon); African Bermuda Grass, (Cynodon transvaalensis); and a hybrid Bermuda Grass of Cynodon dactylon x Cynodon transvaalensis. Bermuda grass (Cynodon dactylon) is a rare Perennial grass in the UK. The leaf is Flat or rolled, having a typical width of 2-4mm. The Ligule is a Fringe of hairs, being 1mm in length; Auricle?: No. Growth type is Stoloniferous and Rhizomatous.
