Auto-Roller
A range of ride-on rollers, originally designed in the 1920s, with 2 models, each with a front and rear roller, for use on cricket pitches. They are powered by variable speed hydrostatic transmission from a diesel engine. The 3 feet (0.915mm roller width) model is 1200kg (unballasted) to 1600kg (ballasted), producing a ground pressure of 4.8 to 6.6 kg/cm2; and 4 feet(1.22m roller width) model is 1675kg (unballasted) to 2175kg (ballasted), producing a ground pressure of 6.5 to 8.7 kg/cm2. They are manufactured by Autoguide Equipment.
