Approved Product

A product which has been approved by a regulatory authority for use on a defined area. This mainly relates to the use of Plant Protection Products (pesticides), which have been approved for use on defined areas which are stated in a Crop Definitions List. It is illegal to store or use a product which is not currently approved, this includes one which has been disapproved, i.e. having had its approval status withdrawn.
